Will it fit my boat?
Cut to the sizes on this page. This sail is made to the luff, leech and foot listed above, FX Sails’ standard sizes for Hunter 25. Before you order, compare them with your old sail.
Standard Hunter 25 rig: P 24.8′ · E 8′ (published rig data, Good Old Boat sail data). Compare it with your boat; a different mast, tall rig or replacement spars means your sail needs different numbers.

Slides, foot, reefs & battens
Luff slides. The standard slide for Hunter 25 is selected in the Luff Slides menu, with a photo. Different mast, or not sure? Choose “Not sure - we’ll match your mast” and we’ll confirm with you before cutting; a photo of one of your old slides helps.
Bolt rope or loose foot. A bolt-rope foot slides into the groove in your boom. A loose foot is attached only at the tack and clew. Choose “Select for me” if you’re not sure.
Reefs. The first choice in the reef menu is what comes with the sail; add more reefs there.
Battens. The first choice in the batten menu is the standard batten layout for this sail; add full battens there.
Sail numbers. Pick how many per side and the color, then type your numbers in the comments box at checkout.
Warranty
Our inshore sails carry a 3-year warranty; our offshore sails carry a 5-year warranty.
On FX Sails’ own quote site: “Our Inshore Sails, perfect for daysailing and short jaunts along the coast, carry a 3-year warranty. Our Offshore Sails are as tough as they come and feature a 5-year warranty.”

Design, cloth & build
Designed by Sandy Goodall, former partner and head of design at Elvstrøm Sails in Denmark. Shape and draft position are built in by careful design and broad seaming.

Returns
You can return anything you buy from The Sail Store, custom sails included, within 15 days of delivery for a full refund minus a 20% restocking fee and shipping costs. Items must be unused and in brand-new condition (in the original packaging where possible) and are sent back at your expense. We don’t do exchanges; return the item and place a new order.
