Catalina 320 sail questions

Which Catalina 320 sails do you sell?
On this page: mainsail, genoas, jib, spinnaker, mainsail cover, each cut to the Catalina 320 sizes in the table above. Click a sail to choose its options.
Will these sails fit my Catalina 320?
They are cut to the published Catalina 320 rig. Check your mainsail luff against the table above. If your boat has a different rig, get an instant custom quote at FX Sails.
110%, 135% or 150% genoa: which one?
The number is the LP (a line from the clew to the luff, at right angles) as a percent of the foretriangle base. A 110% is the easiest to handle and best in stronger wind; a 135% is the best all-round choice; a 150% gives the most power in light air. The 135% and 150% furling genoas come with a Sunbrella UV cover in the color you pick.
Will the genoa fit my furler?
Furling genoas have a luff tape. Choose your furler model in the sail options, or email us the make and model and we match the tape.
What comes with the Catalina 320 mainsail?
Aluminum headboard, draft stripe, leech line, one reef, Cunningham, battens, class insignia, sail ties and bag, as listed on the mainsail page. Bolt rope or loose foot: choose it in the sail options, or leave it on "Not sure" and we recommend the right one.
What cloth and thread do you use?
Challenge sailcloth (Dacron for mainsails and genoas, nylon for spinnakers), sewn with Tenara thread.
What about the Catalina 320 spinnaker?
It is an asymmetrical (cruising) spinnaker: no pole needed, 12 color patterns, turtle bag and color-coded luff and leech tapes. A sock (snuffer) is an option.
How long does it take, and what does shipping cost?
Custom sail – ships in about 4 weeks. Shipping is free in the USA. Christmas sale: 10% off through Dec 18 (already taken off the prices shown).
What is the warranty?
3 years inshore / 5 years offshore on defects in materials or workmanship.
